Military LCD displays should be able to endure extreme weather conditions and they should be able to function in both hot and cold weather conditions. One of the problems with regular LCD monitors is that in low operating temperatures their performance generally degrades and their response rate reduces at low operating temperatures. This is not the only problem or challenge, there are other factors those have to be dealt with; high temperatures too can be equally challenging.
